Beautiful Bronze Age gold roundels found in a grave at Mycenae, dated around 1500 BC. About 700 gold discs with embossed decoration were found in Grave III. Thought to be dress ornaments or sewn onto the burial shroud.

#InternationalCatDay: a terrific #Egyptian gold finger-ring with a carnelian bezel in form of a #cat. The ring is presumably related to the goddess Bastet, who was worshipped in the form of a lion and a cat.
