This is alarming. These are @MCF_Faridabad trucks dumping waste. What is this, if not the illegal dumping of mixed municipal solid waste in the #Aravalis? Where is the environmental oversight? Who will enforce compliance and hold the authorities accountable? Who will protect this fragile ecosystem from continued ecological degradation? Who will stop this? Save the Aravalis

HOW CAN THE HARYANA GOVERNMENT LET #FARIDABAD & #DELHINCR CHOKE ON TOXIC SMOKE AND GET AWAY WITH IT?
This is horrifying. Large trucks are dumping piles of mixed waste in the forested Aravallis at #BhankariVillage, #Faridabad, while older heaps of waste have been set on fire -right next to #SainikColony and #HanumanMandir. And this, while GRAP Stage I stands invoked! @CAQM_Official@CPCB_OFFICIAL
Municipal waste is reportedly being dumped and burned here. This demands an IMMEDIATE INVESTIGATION AND ACCOUNTABILITY. If officials have authorised these actions, the implications are grave. This is an outrage against public health and the environment.
Who will protect residents and their children? Who will save the Aravallis? And why should the public suffer if @MCF_Faridabad has issued orders permitting this activity? Were these orders issued, and did they authorise burning the waste? The authorities must answer.
Horrific. Condemnable. Potentially criminal. Those responsible must face strict punitive action. @AmitShah ji, please intervene urgently!

Shouldn’t these stories make it to the news? Especially when the very state agencies responsible for protecting public health are allegedly part of the problem, or failing to prevent it.
Authorities @CAQM_Official please hear a father pleading for his asthmatic 10-year-old’s health … citizens are being left to bear the health costs of systemic failures #wastefires #Faridabad #OpenDumping #OpenBurning #Aravallis

In Faridabad people are protesting against new landfill place near residential area in Aravali.
Its high time Faridabad, Haryana adopt the Indore waste management model.
Indore’s waste management model is built on a 100% source-segregated, zero-landfill circular economy approach led by the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC).
Residents and businesses segregate waste into six categories, including wet, dry, plastic, hazardous, sanitary, and e-waste, supported by strong public awareness campaigns that ensure high compliance.

Dear @byadavbjp ji and @CPCB_OFFICIAL, @RaoNarbir ji
Are you aware of the massive waste fire at the dump yard on the Faridabad–Gurugram road?
Are you aware that the worst-affected are residents of the Bhankari–Sainok Colony, apparently their right to protest has also been taken away, just as their right to breathe clean air has been denied?
Despite the Solid Waste Management Rules under @MoEFCC, why is waste being allowed to accumulate in such enormous quantities and dumped in the eco fragile zone ? The area is not even lined with protective sheets to contain the contamination ! It’s bizarre! @MCF_Faridabad can you try and explain what is happening?
Why are local residents being burdened with the consequences of a waste crisis ? Till date despite 12 years of same government in power - solid waste is managed via transportation and landfilling not via scientific management .
Look at the smoke billowing out of the mixed waste piles -entire Delhi-NCR airshed is impacted. Is @mssirsa ji aware of the scale of this crisis?
Think for a moment: if a private company had caused this, or if the government belonged to a non-BJP party, would central ministry and not demand immediate accountability, investigations and arrests?
And yet, who pays the price? Not the contractors transporting the waste, not the officers responsible for the decisions, and certainly not those who have allowed this crisis to grow. It is ordinary citizens who are left inhaling the toxic consequences.
This is precisely how public trust is eroded, @NayabSainiBJP. Ji Governance is being reduced to one-sided gyan and sermons about civic responsibility janta ki bhagidari while institutional failures are going unaddressed.
If governments can’t ensure source segregation, segregated collection, composting of wet waste, biogas production and recycling of dry waste, and simply transporting and dumping mountains of mixed waste from one place to another then close down @ulbharyana and @MoHUA_India -handover SWM to Ministry of Transport. Atleast we will not be mislead into thinking waste is being “managed”in a manner which protects human health and environmental health.
Respectfully stating once again accountability cannot depend on which political party is in power.🙏
