This is a foolish constitutional amendment proposal. We already have a maxed out rainy day fund and have run the largest surpluses in state history.
Any additional revenue should be used for lower taxes, including assisting local governments with grants so that homestead properties can be exempt from local property tax. Surplus revenue could also be used to remove tolls once the property tax issue is settled.
I recommend a NO vote.
Strong leadership doesn't happen by accident!
Weak school boards cave to pressure and let radical curricula sneak in.
Strong conservative ones say “no” — and deliver results: higher test scores, safer schools, and accountability.
Attention pedophiles:
Now, according to our new state law in Florida, if you rape a child you will be put to death. Keep your hands off our children.
Thank you to the Florida legislature and @GovRonDeSantis for getting this done.
HOLDING THE LINE: Rep. @ChaseTramontFL defends the Charlie Kirk Remembrance Bill on the House floor, slamming the Left's "Greatest Hits" of labeling every conservative a racist
"I reject the idea that something is racist just because you say it's racist," Tramont declared, calling for context, accuracy, and honesty in debate.
@ChandlerForPB@RonDeSantis@GovGoneWild The 1/2 cent sales tax goes strictly to capital improvements FYI. The mileage is what funds the teacher raises. Just want to set the record straight on that one 😉
My heart breaks for the Kirk family. Political violence is not the answer. Lord, be with Charlie and the medical team and help comfort those who love and care for him. @charliekirk11 You are loved!
Question: Do you think it is an appropriate role for government to mandate children take a private product — that is administered into their body — if that private company is shielded of all liability?
Florida leads the nation in empowering parents to make the best medical and educational decisions for their children.
Thanks to @GovRonDesantis’ leadership, Florida will always be a safe haven where parents can be parents.
On this day 180 years ago, Florida officially became the 27th state. Today, we commemorate Florida’s statehood and recognize how our great state has contributed to the success of the American experiment. Happy birthday, Florida!
You know what? Last night I was tired from the fight with the Florida Legislature. Tired of the lies spewed by Daniel Ocasio Cortez and his ilk. Tired of contemplating Randy Fine possibly representing ME. Tired of my own party's representatives calling me a BOT.
Then I saw all of you still fighting. I saw big accounts like @DLoesch Dana Loesch willing to debate Fine. I saw @johncardillo and @johnburk39 handing out the receipts. I saw the Florida Senators and Representatives like @JayCollinsFL , @GovGoneWild, @RepMikeCaruso still fighting the fight. I saw little accounts like me fighting hard all week.
About that time, I realized this is about more than a weak immigration bill. This fight is for the conservative soul of this state and legislature. Because as Florida goes, so goes the nation. It is about shining a light on and weeding out the Dem-lites and petty, lobby money grabbing opportunists. It is about OUR future, conservatives.
They thought they would take down the Governor and make him a lame duck. They have no sense of Florida History and the character of our governor. He fought the world during covid and won. He fought Disney and others for our parental rights and won. He fought Soros and his minion state DAs and won.
He has the ENTIRE conservative movement with him because it is not about Trump versus DeSantis as the RINOs are lying about. We will not let the RINOs divide us conservatives ever again.
Now? Governor DeSantis has brought a conservative PAC to help true conservatives win in 2026. And we are only beginning. Get on board or get the hell out of the way.
If you still aren’t sure how to feel about today, here’s a super helpful hint: both the ACLU and Florida Democrats issued public statements supporting the actions of the legislature. Seriously.
