Today we're making RF Diffusion, our guided diffusion model for protein design with potential applications in medicine, vaccines & advanced materials, free to use. The software has proven much faster and more capable than prior protein design tools.

Membrane contacts, lipid flux and fission - here’s the Pucadyil Lab’s perspective from studying the endocytic and mitochondrial dynamins. Thanks @MolecularCell for the invite. https://t.co/ftvAZJGHBq
Thrilled to see a piece of my graduate work in PNAS! With Krishnakanth Baratam, @mbuanand@afororange@TPucadyil; we analyze role of a novel membrane anchor & offer exciting insights into how variable loops in dynamin PH-domain actively facilitate fission!

Delighted to share our latest paper describing a pull-down strategy to analyse protein complexes on diffusible membrane bilayers supported on silica beads. An enriching collaboration with @Devika_An & @TPucadyil. Grateful for all feedback from the group! https://t.co/tT4QnLaEuH
Happy to share our new article talking about metal-binding property of the mitochondrial fission catalyst Drp1 and how it affects function. Thanks @TPucadyil and lab people for guidance and support.

Glad to share our new review in @nature. We introduce the idea of mitochondrial divisome conceptually similar to the bacterial divisome machinery and discuss its role in physiology and disease

Great team-effort @TPucadyil@sauerkrausi@MikeRmitolab
Mitochondrial division..when, where, how and why should we care? We integrate our views on this topic using a ‘divisome’ concept in this review https://t.co/8VS00C9Opd now published @nature. Great collaboration with @sauerkrausi, @itskrishnendu3@MikeRmitolab
Accolades from @insa_academy to @IISERPune members
Dr Thomas Pucadyil elected a Fellow of INSA
Dr Sreejith G J and PhD alumnus Dr Shraddha Karve selected for the 2020 INSA Medal for Young Scientists for their research work carried out at IISER Pune.
Congrats & best wishes!!
The Pucadyil Lab turned 10 today. Cheers to you all for the joyful science and the beautiful memories. It’s been a privilege to share this journey. A huge thanks to our well wishers and critics and @IISERPune@India_Alliance @HHMINEWS @serbonline for your confidence and support.
As today marks ten years of terrific research in Pucadyil Lab in the field of membrane biology, here's congratulating @TPucadyil. This painting illustrates what we study, and how we do it. For more, please visit https://t.co/Lu28Sybkxz or reach out to the team! #SciArt@IISERPune
Our review got featured on the cover! What looks like seaweed at first is actually a kymograph of the membrane remodelling ATPase EHD1 forming foci that polymerize and grow in the presence of ATP on a membrane tube. Here's a link to the article.

@TPucadyil and I wrote a review on EHDs, a group of proteins that hydrolyse ATP to remodel membranes. They're involved in a number of important cellular processes and we're working to figure out more about how they function.
