@MPOrthoptics ohh thank you! Glad there is a workaround, but it's pretty awful that google does not let you opt out of misinformation 😑😒 can't wait to see how this shows up in student submissions
Been writing a lot lately so have been googling stuff more often these days. Google's AI Overview consistently makes up facts and arguments, and presents citation links that have nothing to do with my query. And yet.. I can't turn this feature off?! 🤨
Overall, both model and human increase attention to things and decrease attention to stuff compared to baseline pixel-count-based probability. When human fixation to individual labels disagrees with this average pattern, model attention also tends to mimic the human. 10/15
This just came into my inbox via @ARVOJOV TOC alert and WOW - amazing resource @MGreenePhD , @bjbalas , et (many) al !
Cannot wait to dive in (and learn a ton of new programming skills along the way as I try to figure out how to answer the questions I'm interested in😅)

What are foundation models in neuroscience? I'll be giving a talk next week to the NIH neuroscience ethics working group. I started writing a short blog post which snowballed into this 5,000 word essay https://t.co/8xHDbkNUOJ

@theSurlyBiker @NYB4208 @houmayor I recently moved to htx and don't ride my bike as often as I'd like because infrastructure isn't as safe/complete as the city I came from, where I biked for everything. This average middle-aged lady would 100% use new bike lanes here! And I'd be one less car in traffic. Win/win

The US has the highest rate of pedestrian and cyclist fatalities—by far—among wealthy nations despite having far lower rates of walk/bike. The difference is almost entirely because of mandated auto dependence, road design and failure to regulate dangerous automobiles and drivers.
