The United Nations calls Ethiopian .authorities “to stop mass arrests, ensure that any deprivation of liberty is judicially reviewed and release those arbitrary detained. Authorities must ensure that conditions comply with international norms and standards. “
The UN further calls all international oversight bodies to be given unconditional access to all places of detention.
AEPAC calls the United States congress and the State Department to join international bodies in guaranteeing the safety of detainees, full protection of their human rights, fair trail and demand to stop all human rights violations and abuses in all regions of Ethiopia, while holding individuals accountable for these and other related atrocities.
