@leffenfanboy I believe this animation can happen with any character, Marth just seems to be notorious for altering his hurtbox position more than most characters.
This used to cause a desync in Slippi. @UnclePunch_ found the conditions in screenshot.

To elaborate on what Fiction said: Marth has 2 hitstun animations, one where he just flies and one where he spins around. The spinning one makes his hurtbox much more narrow and puts it higher up. It's why stuff like fthrow upsmash can RANDOMLY be very doable or super hard
@aMSaRedyoshi Yeah, it looks like if the turnip clanks with another hitbox on the same frame that it hits Yoshi, it does not lose its hitbox like it normally does.
U know what's hilarious? Ppl love in traditional fighters when ppl whiff punish limbs, it's one of the sickest things. In Smash? they'll just call it stupid broken no skill game doesn't work right how did it hit I can't believe it's not butter I hate this game.
Clown work.
@danielddizzle Some true myths :)
Peach's turnip goes farther if you throw it backwards
Sheik jumps farther if you hold backward on the way up
Wavedashes go farther if you spam grab while sliding
G&W has the easiest foxtrot in the game
Marth's running turn can last over 2 seconds
This youtube channel has so much amazing stuff on it and so little recognition. Y'all should check this out.

tldr shield drop notch will make you crouch but once it makes you walk; means you move forward automatically when hit and spacing becomes easier
Hello America. Daylight Saving Time is over which means you no longer have to hear me correct people to say "PDT" instead of "PST," as PST is now correct. Thank you and I will see you again on March 13, 2022.
Peach has 3 ground float heights: 2.2 units up is done by holding down and jump. 1.6 units up is done by pressing jump twice during jumpsqaut. 0.0 units above the ground is done by pressing jump the second time the frame Peach leaves the ground.
Myth busted: it is actually possible to hit the "impossible" hitbox if the weaker hitbox phantom hits an internal hurtbox (in this case, G&W's head) on the same frame that the impossible hitbox hits a hurtbox with lower priority (G&W's nose).
Trigger potentiometers vary quite much in their performance, regarding return smoothness and lifespan. This is going to be a thread on the differences between the types and batches. (1/14)
@danielddizzle O wait it might be im thinking of hitbox phantoms high priority hurtbox and so doesn't try to hit a lower priority hurtbox that is clearly hit, so yea nvm
