@PhilWMagness@ConceptualJames According to Auron he’s southern Baptist and was a high school teacher until he made a career change to journalism unsure when exactly but he hasn’t been a journalist for very long.
Was warfare so common to kill off 1 in 4 men? Bit of a ridiculous statement considering that warfare in the 19th and 20th centuries became much more lethal and was conducted on literally a global scale and they barely could break those numbers. I think around 20% of southern men (20-24) died in the civil war.
Pleasing your partner, and performing basic relationship roles like cooking the food or working your job, is not "indentured servitude," "sex slavery," "simping/being pussy-whipped" for the men, etc.
This is a truly idiotic idea, that slithered out of radical feminism and it's manosphere backlash, and needs to die. It is utterly healthy and normal to have/convey baseline expectations for this other human adult sharing your house.
Negative partisanship is a helluva drug:
Up until a few months ago, liberal and conservative Americans held pretty much the same views on free trade.
Now, not so much…
@Thinkwert lol. Virtually every exam I took as a history major 25 years ago was a blue book essay exam. You haven’t lived until you’ve dug through your couch cushions looking for change so you can pick up a blue book at the university bookstore on your way to take a final.
