So my parents are both AS.Long story is short is the reagent used to check my mum's genotype had probably expired but the lab people didn't know. She was told she was AA.
Fast forward to ANC screening while she was pregnant, and gbam she's AS. She was shook!

This person most likely has UTI and the causative organism cannot be treated by any of the antibiotics listed here including the last resort ones, like Colistin.
Sadly, the carrier can or could have transmitted/shared this bug with others

We advocate for Universal Health Coverage, yet using NHIS in UCH is a punishment. Getting code takes hours. Submitted a request yesterday, yet 24 hours later nothing heard. Paying-out-of-pocket is easier and you can do your tests on the same day after seeing a physician.
