BREAKING: South Korea is now making concrete preparations to deploy military assets and troops to the Strait of Hormuz, including P-8 Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft, Navy UDT EOD teams, and naval logistics support ships, per a high-ranking Ministry of National Defense official to SBS.

The South Korean government, which previously maintained the position that it would only pursue Hormuz deployment after the US-Iran war ended, has now completely changed its policy and begun preparations for deployment despite the ongoing conflict.

Consultations regarding ports of call and operational bases with neighboring countries are also underway.

@colin_gladman You can watch the strenght of the Korean won. You may notice that the Korean won was weakest right around the top. Cheap won sells semis. But food prices have been doubling.

If the Korean won strength continues to climb it puts pressure on sales of semiconductors abroad. But the won has been so elevated for this whole time during this rally making food, daily, and travel expenses much higher.
