@Majormadd@Liturgy@swamthetiber25 Jesus asked us to do so.
I am not sure what the issue is with implication it does not physically last very long, lots of things we do are only in the moment, but they have a long effect. That's probably more so spiritually.
@thecavemommy they used to tell us to wait until they were dry over night or during nap time to know it was time to start trying to potty train. I would not wake a kid up three times during the night every nigh to go. Maybe there's something unique going on.
@Majormadd@Liturgy@swamthetiber25 I would like to know more information about where you're coming from asking this. There are too many perspectives to answer on X
@swamthetiber25 This was the topic on Catholic radio today. (Not this tweet) It was nice to hear how important it is that His entire body and precious blood is present in the smallest part of communion.
@CityCinderxlla@TurnipGreenee@Am_hailey Parents especially mothers have been blamed for autism since the beginning of autism.
The family are not specialists. They may not recognize the signs. It looks like bad parenting to the untrained eye.
Autism or other issue a very reasonable concern.
@fiercepatricks I thought it would not be that bad, and it's been terrible for families in this country. It took the definition of marriage away. It really added to the no faith divorce problem. There's almost not marriage anymore.
It took that away.
@mustardseed63@lukeappleton@Alonso_GD Absolutely I have things I don't want the government knowing about me and tracking what I say.
They shut down speech about vaccines, alternative covid treatment, masks, and then the IRS went after conservatives across the country.
They went after Churches that stayed open
Help! Plant people! I have a family member who's water plants behind my back (because she had to it was dry!)
How do we explain she's killing the plant? Two people can't take care of a plant and not communicate. It doesn't work.
@audrawrongspeak@DuckieLouise@EastTNMama I think what you're describing is what she's saying people should be doing. Not that you're doing it wrong, but that there are parents who aren't teaching their kids how to do it.
Does anyone know of resource discussing fraternal correction eloborating on each point regarding when it should or should not be used?

I'm excited that a non Catholic family member is excited about a relic that is going to be on display during a Trip they're going on. Maybe she'll even make the trip to see it.
Hearing the saints stories can bring people home!
I wonder if people who cannot see how it's possible to have faith and use logic are only familiar with some sort of Calvinists type of predestination type of faith.
My faith doesn't require me to ignore any sense of reason.
@PeterVanGee@bikerbutter@BreeSolstad It's weird how he twists whatever anyone says. Not sure if he understands and enjoys the frustration he's trying to cause, or if something else is wrong.
But it's really odd.
