@UofGlasgow Dr Marco Cantini has been awarded an MRC UKRI Rutherford Fund Fellowship. He will develop engineered microenvironments for stem cells and study to response to viscosity for cartilage repair. @marcocantini24@MiMeResearch @UofGCCE @ManuelMime https://t.co/zdLcoj3xJp
It has been a wonderful privilege to visit the @FindABetterWay-funded project at the @UofGlasgow today, and to meet the team developing synthetic bone. This work could be enormously beneficial for landmine blast survivors, and anyone else in need of new bone tissue.
Our founder @SirBobby toured the @UofGCCE laboratories at @UofGlasgow today to see first hand the Find A Better Way-funded development of synthetic bone for treating landmine blast survivors.
Our work on cell interactions with purely viscous surfaces has been published on PNAS. This research opens new avenues to incorporate viscosity into the design of cellular microenvironments.
