@DawnReese64@TheTVAddicted Imagine going to college and becoming an accomplished adult who is now superintendent of a school district and then being physically removed by an unhinged racist? Poor Man.
@Entraptaaaa @CrispyVacancies @mitchypower @MCU_Direct I think Cassie just happened to be the one to open the door. It would've been just as emotional of a reunion if it was the mom or step dad because they all had a great relationship.
@MelyndaJones@GNasrin@NTrexit@VABVOX @MsBehavinMarin For an associates her in ny, it's 2 yrs of science prerequisites and then 2 yrs of core nursing classes
@furquis@GNasrin@NTrexit@VABVOX @MsBehavinMarin With all the education we do get on disease processes and treatment, not having substantial hands on lab is not an excuse for ignorance and denial of what we see and treat on a regular bases. Even in clinicals, we observe and assist and so many things.
@GNasrin@NTrexit@VABVOX @MsBehavinMarin Depends on degree, but 4 yrs minimum. It's impossible for the curriculum to not be science based. We need to learn the pathophysiology of diseases, the symptoms, how to treat, the mechanism of actions for drug therapy. We have to learn a lot of what MDs need to know.
@GNasrin@VABVOX @MsBehavinMarin Nursing student here... I think while it may depend on the specific school, but our curriculum is heavy on science. Our whole mantra is to give evidence based care. I think environment/culture plays a role.
@LizRummy This isn't new though, pediatricians have in the past told patients to find new doctors if they see the patents are non compliant with certain things.
