Continuing on the news about @Altruist from yesterday... Manish Khatta had a great quote for advisors: "Nobody gives a (beep) about you. Go raise assets & focus on your own business."

The longer I'm in this business, the more I see the truth in this statement. Your custodian doesn't care about you. Your platform doesn't care about you. Your "strategic" partnerships---they don't either.

Everyone is working on their OWN goals. If you fit in that, great. If you don't fit...well, you can exit stage left.

This is the reality.
