@HRMFireNews /2 just a theory. We’ve all seen times when somebody’s shared something that’s days, weeks or years old. Posting daily, with tens of thousands of shares/views/impacts - there’s a good chance some of your audience isn’t seeing the right map.
@HRMFireNews 1 problem w/ timely msgs on SM is that an pic loses its accuracy as soon as it’s shared/retweeted. The algo could be showing you a post from 3 days ago, or it could be today. Here-A link changes in real time. Less instant recognition maybe, but it’s also always going to be right.
@robhoadley Any PEI expansion of the @CFL needs to clearly review the geological repercussions of having so many heavy players and thousands of fans on one side of the island.
We need to be assured that the island wont "tip over completely" (geologist speak)
**disclaimer : not a geologist
@Onemainstreet I think people underestimate the impact a great (or sadly, poor) teacher can have. As a 'challenging' kid, there were very few teachers two had the patience to actually try to get through to me-Mme. Manderson (grade 7 + 8, GSMS) was good one.
@Bell_Aliant second outage since Christmas, anticipated duration over 24h this time, on Super Bowl Sunday.
The fact I had to get a 200$ “Lost modem” charge reversed before Christmas (your techs took it with them), I’m starting to get a pretty bad taste in my mouth.

@DrSarteschi As an electrical installation regulator, my brain hurts from trying to make sense of the logic of a “certified” Canadian national electrical inspector.
@robhoadley I think one of the deterrents was soil. Fuel stations often have soil contamination which has to be rectified before it can be repurposed, and the $ req'd is often unknown.
A lot of private development will be hesitant to touch what could be a 10-200k (or more) fix.
Happy retirement to Chief Kevin Clifford after 44 yrs with SJ Fire
“It's not easy to get up every day & say ‘today I gotta be better than tomorrow.’
You gotta work through things that are difficult & challenging. That’s where you get the confidence to know you can do it.”
@HRMFireNews ohhh that's good.
On the plus side, a chauffeur just got a nickname that'll last decades after chief's forgotten about doing a reverse PIT maneuver on a house
