The @AADskin advisory board REJECTED the resolution to end programs that improve diversity in our specialty. Instead, they supported the resolution to continue the programs and also create task forces to address anti-semitism and Islamaphobia.
Agree: @ArchivesPath
"Grossing" should be replaced by "macroscopy" in our field!
-Dictionary definition of "grossing" is: produce or earn (an amount of money) as gross profit or income.
"Gross examination" is better than but macroscopy better still!

The Mentorship session at #ASDP23 was very rich and enjoyable, and I learned so much about my favorite topic.
I was incredibly lucky and honored to meet Dr. Sara C. Shalin! 🤩💫✨

From the dynamic corridors of #UAMS to the vibrant heart of Chicago at the #ASDP23 conference. A heartwarming reunion as old and new alumni unite. Immense gratitude to Dr. Shalin for her unwavering mentorship and guidance. Forever a family. 🌟 #UAMSAlumniReunion
Tonight (with my bro Mark), I’m travelling to #Chicago for American Society of Dermatopathology Annual Scientific Meeting. I’m proud to be receiving the Founders Award, their top honour (awarded b4 I got sick too!). I’m abit nervous about travelling. Fingers crossed no dramas!
Hi @AmericanAir .This is the third flight when I’ve been told I must gate check my bag only to board and have TONS of overhead room. Frustrating as my goal of traveling light is to avoid the baggage pickup at busy airports like LGA. What’s going on? Can we get a balance?
This expectation harms students who have to work during undergrad to support themselves or don’t have the resources/connections to know they’re “expected” to do research early on (publications take time!). A PhD is supposed to teach you how to do research and write papers.
