For every bad thing that happens anywhere in this country, instead of questioning their own leaders, local or state authorities, the administration and the police, people are quick to blame Biharis, even when they may have no presence at the location or any connection to the incident. And when a Bihari is involved, the incident is often exaggerated and generalised to malign an entire community.

All of this points in one deeply troubling direction that Biharis risk becoming what the Jews were in Germany, scapegoated for society's all problems on the basis of their identity.

We would be better off recognising the danger and preparing for what may come than be caught by surprise.
