This is what @BereanMN should have done in response to #wesFeltner and his behavior that exposed him as unfit for pastoral ministry. https://t.co/67EwvuxUQW
My neighborhood, burning. Median income $33k. Many have no transit. Our pharmacies, banks, gas stations, restaurants are destroyed. The six closest grocery stores are looted. Our post office is on fire. The nearest gas station is on fire. No response from our city or state.
Wes Feltner sermons from @bereanmn are still being recommended on YouTube. Should we promote an unrepentant man that we should have nothing to do with?
@cefiedlerdog@robertjeffress We in Burnsville never heard former Pastor Wes Feltner call his behavior sin. Never heard an apology or the seeking of forgiveness for misleading the congregation or for stealing funds (AKA used church finances for his personal use). Wes showed no remorse to the Faith Family.
This seems like a great example of an apology (Kyle was fired from NASCAR). The N word shouldn't have been used - no question. Does the punishment fit the offense?
Tim has a valuable thread. Watch out for defenders who now say, "Calling him a 'predator'? That's absurd language to use. This nice man merely engaged in conduct that was so egregiously and obviously unethical, it became criminalized in multiple states. Nothing wrong with that!"
@MaggiePeggy123@emlarson@KLPlitz Peggy, there was never any mention recently of changing the bylaws because of Wes' misconduct. Eric was stating what bylaws probably still state..
@SeanAllanSmith @zimmermom86 @jamesbeamy @JordanLamonde I do remember Pastor Wes Felter MAKING threats from the pulpit at @BereanMN , stating that if anyone hurt one of his kids, God would be calling him to prison ministry.
Is that the kind of threats he received?
@SeanAllanSmith @zimmermom86 @jamesbeamy @JordanLamonde Sean, Can you confirm the threats and violent behavior? If that is the case, Wes should file police reports and orders of protection. NO ONE should be threatening violence to him or any of his family.
@KLPlitz@emlarson@MaggiePeggy123 The company publishing those articles specializes in "reputation management." Either was or someone else is paying them to change his online reputation. #WesFeltner should fire them. That articles created are terrible.
