To the contrary, motorists routinely speed, make illegal u-turns, double-park, and roll through stop signs, among other offenses. We're just socialized to act as if this is no offense.

Bad news for NoMa Metro riders: plans for a tunnel linking the station to Union Market are on hold, for now, as cash for the project is (once again) left out of DCโs budget.

@DDOTDC 2 construction crews have set up competing detour signs at 3rd & M St NE, each pointing to the other street. If they're going to shut down the streets, at least make them coordinate.
