It would be so incredibly easy to just have an off ice official to review replays for the on ice crew instead of them just trying to remember afterwards or watch on an iPod. Other sports do it. Refs could transition to off-ice when their on ice days are over.
@EdmOilerlytics At one point in the year Frederick implied the same thing (didn’t know what his role was). Not saying Frederick doesn’t need to be better, but it’s more of the same view. Pretty sure Stetcher had some similar/related comments too.
@Oil_Drop Love RNH, but he’s never been able to drive a line at Center. He’s a complimentary winger and would be quite good on Dickensen’s wing (3rd line). If he’s your 2C you’re a one line team.
@qauckenbush17 And a bunch of the fan base was clamouring for Wallstedt. Hurts even more because with the traded down pick they took Bourgault 22nd. Dallas picked Wyatt Johnson at 23.
@KevinMcCurdy@TheKlenkster Most of the debate on here is trying to justify that Bouchard should have been nominated by focusing on him. I’d be really interested in people putting forward what Makar and Dahlin did this season to put them above Bouchard and Seider. What separates the noms above the others?
@JacobtheDozer @JSJamato It isn’t. Being in a position to win and deserving to win are not the same thing. Did they deserve to win the OT game? No. Were they in a position to win because the game was in OT? Yes. Other losses (not G6) were close in score without EN. Deserved? No. Score wise, possible.
@Isuckatpicking@regwald It’s tough. It’s banking on him getting 75 points a season which I think is actually an okay bet…IF…he’s healthy, which he’s shown not to be.
