@Solaman_Grundy @brithume The strait being closed hurts them more than us. It’s pushed our gas prices to about what they were after Russia invaded Ukraine. Our economy is still growing. Theirs is collapsing.

It’s annoying for us but it’s a lot worse than that for them.

@BishopBarron When I was a kid, I was disillusioned with the Iraq War and thought about being a young Kerry volunteer. I went to a rally that featured Hillary Clinton as a speaker and one speakers led the crowd in chants of “More abortions! More abortions!” as witchy looking women cackled.

@EricRSammons We could also give deacons larger roles. The fact that we pretend a priest is required for absolutely everything is dysfunctional and limits the church’s ministry.
