@rorysutherland The correct treatment is the car will reduce taxable profits by 125,000 not save 125,000 of tax charge. Say corp tax is 25%, 250,000 x0.25= 62,500. 250,000-125,000 =125,000 x .25 = 31,250. on a simple basis, tax saving is 31,250.
