October 2023: A Berlin court convicted drag performer Mario Olszinski ("Jurassica Parka") of acquiring, possessing, and distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM). He was handed an €11,000 fine with no prison time.
​April 2024: Despite his prior conviction, the German Foreign Office and German Embassy in Tokyo spent approximately €6,000 in taxpayer funds to send Olszinski to Tokyo Rainbow Pride, where he face-painted children.
​July 2025 – May 2026: Following a tip-off from the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), police searched Olszinski’s Berlin apartment and seized devices containing 131 videos and 28 images of CSAM. Formal charges were lodged in May 2026.
​September 2026: Olszinski stood trial in Berlin and was convicted a second time for possession of child sexual abuse material, receiving a suspended sentence (probation).
