@_AfricanUnion I think requiring ten years of experience might be excessive and that it would be beneficial to give young people a chance. The potential of junior candidates is sometimes underestimated, someone with two years of experience can easily outperform a candidate with ten.

Africa reports more than 150 outbreaks each year, 70% which occur in humanitarian settings.
This week, Africa CDC and key partners, including the @_AfricanUnion Health, Humanitarian Affairs & Social Development (@AU_HHS), @WHO, @UNICEF, @UNFPA, @MSF, @ICRC, @ifrc, and @UKHSA, organised a hands-on training workshop to boost emergency response in complex humanitarian environments.
Our goal: empower emergency response managers and frontline responders with practical skills and life-saving knowledge, all while reinforcing the core humanitarian values of humanity, neutrality, impartiality, and independence.
Such capacity-building initiatives are proving more critical than ever as #AfricaResponds to the #EbolaOutbreak, which was recently declared a Public Health Emergency of Continental Security (PHECS).
