An impressive and eye-catching "tree-like" tissue fragment from a Parotid "Pleomorphic Adenoma" displaying a "pseudo Adenoid Cystic CA-like" appearance. (FNA)
... and yet more creative "dotting" by the Cytotech. Thyroid FNA of an "Oncocytic Follicular Neoplasm" (the forthcoming "2023 TBSRTC" name). One can appreciate the "pseudo-medullary carcinoma" appearance.
Size matters, especially in cytology. This high-grade urothelial carcinoma in voided urine has an N/C ratio of >0.7 #parissystem got this one very precise. #cytopathology#pathology
A few other features of melanoma on an FNA:
intra-nuclear inclusion, prominent nucleoli, binucleated tumor cells, and cytoplasmic vacuoles on diff-quick smears.

We just did a SciShow about this but I need to tell you the story on Twitter because you're statistically very unlikely to stop scrolling right now.
It is the story of the most rare and also probably weirdest case of cancer in recorded history.
