I’ve tried to make the sources and questions for a mini English Language P2 assessment more accessible for one of the classes I teach by placing everything on a single A3 page. No need for flicking though stuff. I’ve also used more generous spacing and numbered every line 📝
Pairing / tracking quotations have really developed student conviction in their arguments. The new rule that students cannot ONLY think of one quotation to back up an idea... but two! 🙏 #teamenglish
More useful apps - the language in the categories is a bit awkward but you find the name of the apps. The hyperlinks don't work but you can find them through https://t.co/nLSSNbmR8q or google.
Marking codes - literacy, subject specific or colour coded - can help teachers to provide focused feedback in a quick, efficient & workload friendly way. It's important students understand the feedback & act on it. Dot Targets can support in the moment/live feedback in a lesson or if reviewing work outside of a lesson. #FEEDBACK

My Y11 are struggling with Paper 2 with reading being such a barrier for them. Breaking it down for them, in order to increase confidence in answering questions, before providing larger textual sources. Hopefully this helps.
