@camo_bomb@sttrawberymango as it’s always had a high skill ceiling but cod and halo both had lower skill ceilings and even lower skill requirement to get started in the first place. Is this to say that all raising of a skill ceiling is bad? No, but to me it hasn’t been hard to see.
@camo_bomb@sttrawberymango to put some focus on in the years following? COD esports was a thing back then for sure but I think you only have to look to how much they’ve pushed it in the years since, and the fall off of the general gameplay while being “better” mechanically. This will apply less so to siege

@Thesleepyvampy@sttrawberymango I get that, just like how 75%-100% of the people on Twitter are cunts, most people because of the anonymity go to 11. which, yeah makes the months of playing a game drag if the community is trash. however, there is a noted downturn in the multiplayer of franchises which started -
@sttrawberymango viable long term because you man are killing and milking this business - not as bad as they execs above us all, but you are a problem all the same.
@sttrawberymango No the fuck we don’t, you will be and always have been the minority in gaming. Games got worse when they started listening to pro players only. WHY IS THAT HMMMMM. Pub stomping needed curving, but casual has always been what gaming is and should remain. I’m so glad esports isn’t
@otaku_no_goth@sevenfootrabbit@Noahpinion@HangenOnxsyc These man are gonna be shook when a first world countries’ government gets basically annihilated in one day through a good enough drone strike. How many leaders do you chuck at drones before you give up?
