I have recently started as a Flight Paramedic in a some what isolated location #blessed
Single clinician helo team with a new and expanded scope and a low volume of work= nervous times! Looking to develop a training regime for me and my colleagues to stay on top of our game.
Hi twitter/X or whatever the hell this thing is called now.
I’m seeking some help from any #MedEd#FOAMed folks.
If you work in a low volume or dare I say “quiet” area as a single clinician or small team, How do you stay current? What and how do you train? Would love any tips
@BrittShaw94 Exceptional clinical capability, decent amount of on road time and experience mentoring trainees is a must.
The best place to start is to email/call around and volunteer, that’s how I got my spot, days of unpaid work, show you’re keen, most uni’s will find a paid position for you
No shortage of difficult news across the country right now.
So pop your sound on for 28 seconds of *unbridled joy* as some kids watch a chopper take off.
Thanks to Sam for sharing😊

@BrittShaw94 Welcome to the Wild West, please leave any expectations of crib breaks and finishing on time at the door. You’ll love it, lots of great work and great people.
Audible Hemorrhage. MARCH.
This gentleman would have lost his entire blood volume in the next 60 seconds if it werent for the rapid intervention by the local constabulary.
A truly @ATACCGroup@ForRealTraining worthy response.

@dwebley89@Medibrat I find if you practice SA at all jobs, even the small and insignificant, it becomes natural instinct, get them to look for threats everytime
