@MaxROIFarmer Matt, thank you for your service and sacrifices you made. It’s brave men and women like you that afford us all the freedoms we have. Thank you. Hope you are doing well on days like today. I can not imagine the emotions. If not, please reach out to someone. You are important!
@amandaa_fuller Don’t you have a PhD? I spent 3 years at 2 year junior college. You might have more knowledge and experience than some random guy who feeds a few calves in nw ND.
If you’ve never hear of the new world screw worm, don’t let the media convince you it’s the new threat to society.
There’s absolutely no threat to beef consumers.
Keep eating North American Beef! It’s what’s for dinner!
This is spot on. Provide a safe haven in a world full of evil. Do what we can to guide them in the right direction and they will flourish in the security they feel.
@mbacowboy Learning curve is steep. We have had pretty good luck so far but it isn’t the home run it looks like on paper many times. Especially if you don’t realize how different it is from grazing cows.
@silagechopper@mbacowboy Last year we sent 600 spayed heifers to a custom guy about 60 miles away. Trusted too much. Turns out he was learning on our dollar. Had them in a couple groups. One group did .3# per day. Others were all less than 1. This guy also gets paid to go around and talk at meetings.
Dropped a group of heifers, with a little extra “go”, on grass today. They decided to be a pain. It was hot and sunny. I pulled the hose off the pipe line, took a drink, told dad there was plenty on sulfur in the water.
5 min later I was digging a rotten mouse out of the valve.
