Here we go! MUST WATCH: the real story behind why Trump sent federal officers into D.C. If you want the truth...👇

[UCOPS @UnitedCops]

For years, UCOPS has stood at the forefront of the conversation on reforming and ending Federal Consent Decrees and unnecessary federal oversight agreements like Suffolk County’s. Too often, these arrangements have been driven by political motives rather than a genuine concern for public safety. Thanks to the hard work of everyone below 👇,things have changed.

[DC Police Union @DCPoliceUnion]

The reason that there is so much attention on law enforcement and crime in DC is because in 2020, @charlesallen championed some of the most anti-police legislation in the country. Five years later, the MPD now has only ~3,000 cops with more than 800 vacancies for the position of sworn officer and crime has doubled from pre-2020 levels.

Tell @councilofdc to repeal the Comprehensive Policing and Justice Reform Act NOW!

Thank you @FCC @BrendanCarrFCC !

[AFGE Local 4070 (Thomson Federal Prison) @AfgeLocal4070]

We appreciate @FCC and @Chairmancarr for their support of law enforcement officers at Thomson Federal Prison and across the federal Bureau of Prisons. FCC Chairman Carr has changed the agency’s previous policy on cell phone jammers, lifting the ban and now allowing their use on federal property. This change gives the Director of the Federal Bureau the authority to move forward with implementation, representing a major shift from prior policies. We thank Chairman Carr for his leadership on this issue. On Tuesday, February 26, 2013, after his shift at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, Lt. Osvaldo Albarati was murdered. He was targeted because he had disrupted an illegal contraband cellphone operation in the prison. According to the indictment, his killing was arranged by an inmate who used a smuggled cellphone to contact the gunman.
Osvaldo Albarati is listed in the National Law Enforcement Memorial on Panel 18, E-29. Osvaldo, you will never be forgotten. @ChuckGrassley @GLFOP
