๐จVRL Logistics Driver Exposed:
Fabricated extortion claims, Targetted Hate speech. All aimed to fuel Anti-Kuki Agenda.
โช๏ธIn a widely circulated video, a @VrlltdOfficial Logistics (Hibli, Karnataka) driver Subodh Kumar Pal (Phone number 9560153822) from Farrukhabad, UP presently based in Tejpur Guwahati, vehicle registration number UP 76T3856 not only engaged in explicit hate speech by dehumanizing the entire kuki community by maliciously labelling them as Refugees, he also fabricated claims of being forced to pay over โน25,000 in illegal "highway taxes" during his 200 km transit from Jiribam to Imphal, singling out the Kuki community for โน6,000 of that total.
โช๏ธTo support his lies, he presented several physical receipts as "Evidence" of the extortion. However, a quick fact check & verification of the physical receipts he presented as "proof" completely exposed his lies. Not a single recurring produced by Mr. Pal support his claim of involvement by the Kukis or unauthorized organizatios.
โช๏ธOn the contrary, every receipt originates from Municipal bodies, Local councils or transport unions, two from Noney & Tamenglong, with the actual figures fabricated or wildly exaggerated:
1. He claimed a highway tax of โน3000 was extorted from him but the Actual Receipt shows only โน300 collected by Thoubal Municipal Council.
2. โHe concocted lies claiming kukis extorted โน6,000 from him but the receipt shows it was toll tax collected by the Lilong Thoubal Municipal Council.
3.โ Imphal Municipal Corporation: Claimed โน1,000, Actual Receipt showed โน300.
4.โ Oinamlong Welfare Assn (Tamenglong): Claimed โน5,000, Actual Receipt showed โน100.
5.โ Jiribam Drivers Union: Claimed โน4,000, Actual Receipt showed โน100.
6.โ NH-27 Drivers Welfare Assn (Longmai, Noney): Claimed โน300, Actual Receipt showed โน100.
7.โ Unidentified Municipal Point: Claimed โน500, Actual Receipt showed โน200.
8.โ Lilong Municipal Corp (Imphal West): Claimed โน7,000, Actual Receipt showed โน200.
9.โ Unidentified Local Point: Claimed โน2,000, Actual Receipt showed โน200.
10.โ Wangjing Lamding Municipal Corp (Thoubal): Claimed โน4,000, Actual Receipt showed โน200.
๐จ This deliberate fabrication goes beyond simple misinformation, it constitutes targetted hate speech designed to stoke communal friction in an already deeply sensitive region.
Furthermore, by fabricating these highly inflammatory accusations & engaging in a deeply alarming hate speech targetting an entire community, Mr. Pal could gravely jeopardize the safety, security & intergrity of thousands of honest & hardworking commercial drivers operating along the high-risk transit corridors to sustain Manipur's essential supply lines.
โ Therefore, We demand immediate, strict & exemplary action against Subodh Kumar Pal.
We urged @ManipurPolice โ@MukeshSinghIPS & Manipur Govt @YKhemchandSingh@KonthoujamG@LokBhavManipur to Immediately register an FIR charging Mr. Pal with criminal defamation, forgery, disseminating dangerous rumors & inciting communal enmity.
โ We also urged โ@Uppolice@myogiadityanath@CMOfficeUP@KOTWALIPSFARRU to Initiate legal actiom under relevant statutory provisions against Subodh Kumar Pal for deliberate attempts to disrupt public harmony and peace.
โwe also urged VRL Logistics Ltd @VrlltdOfficial to Conduct an immediate internal investigation, terminate his employment & issue an official public statement disassociating the organization from hate speech & fraudulent accusations.

The Kuki Organisation for Human Rights Trust (KOHUR) has urged the Manipur government to take immediate steps to end the ongoing economic blockade affecting Kuki-Zo-inhabited areas, alleging inaction and calling for the restoration of the free movement of essential supplies. https://t.co/YsNB7Awzfh
Congratulations to Thangsanglen, Lalvanghao, and Seiminsang on your remarkable achievements at the #Gothia Cup and #Helsinki Cup. Your talent, determination, and success have brought immense pride to the #Kuki-Zo community. Keep inspiring generations to come.
@minervapunjabfc
We, the Kuki Community, strongly demand immediate and decisive action against the NSCN Eastern Flank, NSCN-IM, ZUF Kamson Group, and all their alleged allies. We also call for a thorough investigation into allegations of cross-border militant involvement, including claims regarding Myanmar-based armed groups such as the Shan National Army and junta-linked elements allegedly entering Indian territory through the Tangkhul-dominated areas along the IndiaโMyanmar border. These allegations must be investigated impartially, and anyone found responsible for acts of violence should be brought to justice under the law.
We mourn the loss of innocent Kuki civilians, including three Kuki pastors, women, youth, and even an unborn child, whose lives were tragically cut short. Their families continue to wait for justice while many believe those responsible have yet to be held accountable. Justice delayed only deepens the pain and suffering of the victims' families and weakens public confidence in the rule of law.
The Kuki community also expresses deep concern over repeated allegations that Kuki ancestral villages in Ukhrul District, Kamjong District, Noney District, Tamenglong District, and other hill areas have been attacked or burned during the conflict. These serious allegations require transparent, independent, and evidence-based investigations so that those responsible can be identified and prosecuted.
At the same time, many members of the Kuki community have raised concerns about what they perceive as unequal security operations. They question why, in their view, security operations have disproportionately affected Kuki villages and civilians, while they believe allegations regarding violence in other affected areas have not received the same level of enforcement. These concerns should be addressed through impartial investigations and equal application of the law.
We therefore urge the Government of India, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Indian Army, Assam Rifles, Central Armed Police Forces, the National Investigation Agency, and all competent authorities to ensure that justice is applied equally to every community. Those responsible for killings, attacks on civilians, destruction of villages, and other crimesโregardless of their identity, affiliation, or ethnicityโmust be investigated and prosecuted based on credible evidence and due process.
The Kuki community seeks peace, security, and equal justice. Lasting peace in Manipur can only be achieved when the Constitution of India is upheld without discrimination, innocent civilians are protected, and accountability is ensured for every act of violence. Every victim deserves justice, every family deserves the truth, and every citizen deserves equal protection under the law.

The myth of neutrality collapses when facts, investigations, and the suffering of innocent civilians are ignored. Every allegation of terrorism, abduction, murder, illegal arms supply, organized violence, and cross-border militancy must be investigated without fear or favour. Lasting peace cannot be built on selective narratives, misinformation, or political convenience.
The abduction and killing of innocent Kuki civilians, attacks on villages, destruction of homes, burning of properties, and displacement of families have caused immense suffering across Manipur. There have also been allegations regarding the involvement of NSCN (IM), NSCN Eastern Flank, ZUF Kamson Group, and Myanmar-based Shan National Army/junta-linked armed elements in certain incidents. These allegations deserve a thorough, independent, transparent, and impartial investigation by the competent authorities. Every innocent victim deserves justice, and anyone found responsible must be held accountable in accordance with the law.
National security should never be compromised by armed violence or cross-border militant networks. If credible evidence establishes links between any armed group or individual and unlawful attacks, cross-border infiltration, illegal weapons, or crimes against civilians, the Government of India, the National Investigation Agency (NIA), and all competent agencies must conduct a professional, time-bound investigation. Justice must always be guided by evidence, due process, and the rule of lawโnot by ethnicity, politics, or selective narratives.
Peace cannot exist where truth is denied. Reconciliation cannot succeed while victims continue to wait for justice. The future of Manipur depends on equal protection under the Constitution, accountability for crimes against civilians, restoration of law and order, and impartial enforcement of justice. The lives of innocent people must never become tools in political or armed conflicts.
We urge the Government of India to ensure that all allegations involving NSCN (IM), NSCN Eastern Flank, ZUF Kamson Group, and Myanmar-based Shan National Army/junta-linked armed elements, along with any other armed actors allegedly involved in violence against civilians, are investigated impartially through due process. Truth, accountability, justice, and lasting peace remain the only path forward for Manipur and the nation.

So, the โInnocentโ Tangkhul Naga individuals whose arrests prompted civilians, backed by the UNC, to target an Assam Rifles post have now been identified as militants responsible for Ambush on Assamโs rifles in Ukhrul in which Indian army lost 2 soldiers .
Same CSOโs like UNC, TNL want Indian army and AR to be removed so that NSCN militants can rule Ukhrul district and they get their cut every month . Sad but reality of Manipur , sole reason why Nagaland kicked NSCN led by Tangkhulโs out of Nagaland.
#manipur #nagaland
Hon'ble Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah recently held a meeting with Manipuri Naga CSO leaders regarding the deaths of six Manipuri Naga individuals, whose representatives have claimed that the victims were killed by the peace-loving Kuki community. However, these claims are strongly disputed, and there are allegations that the killings were carried out by NSCN-IM and the ZUF (Kamson Group), with the blame being shifted onto the Kuki community. These competing claims should be investigated through an impartial and independent inquiry so that the truth can be established.
We respectfully ask why only Manipuri Naga CSO leaders were invited for discussions while the Kuki community, which also claims to have suffered repeated attacks, the burning of ancestral villages in Ukhrul, Kamjong, Noney, Tamenglong, and other hill districts, as well as the loss of innocent civilians, including pastors, men, women, and an unborn child, has not been given an equal opportunity to present its concerns before the Union Home Minister.
Hon'ble Shri Amit Shah should also convene a meeting with Kuki CSOs and representatives of the SoO groups to hear their concerns regarding allegations involving NSCN Eastern Flank, NSCN-IM, the ZUF (Kamson Group), and alleged cross-border armed groups from Myanmar. The Kuki community has also raised allegations regarding attacks on villages, the burning of Kuki ancestral villages, the killing of three pastors and other innocent civilians, and these allegations also deserve a fair hearing and an impartial investigation.
The truth must not be hidden behind competing claims. Every allegation, every death, every attack, and every victim deserves an independent investigation based on credible evidence. Justice must be equal for all communities, and every affected family deserves to be heard.

WE STRONGLY DEMAND THE IMMEDIATE REOPENING OF NATIONAL HIGHWAY-2 BETWEEN SENAPATI AND KANGPOKPI DISTRICTS
The ongoing economic blockade on National Highway-2, which has continued for more than one month, is causing immense hardship to the people of Kangpokpi District. The prolonged disruption has resulted in severe shortages of food, medicines, fuel, LPG, and other essential commodities, affecting thousands of innocent civilians, including women, children, students, patients, farmers, traders, and transporters.
The blockade has significantly disrupted the free movement of trucks carrying essential supplies, creating a humanitarian crisis in Kangpokpi District. We urge the Government of India and all concerned authorities to take immediate and effective action to restore normal transportation and ensure that innocent civilians are not made to suffer any longer.
We call upon the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Government of Manipur, the Indian Army, Assam Rifles, CRPF, COBRA, BSF, Manipur Police, and all security agencies to immediately reopen National Highway-2 between Senapati and Kangpokpi Districts. Additional security personnel should be deployed, particularly along the Senapati stretch of the highway, to guarantee the safe and uninterrupted movement of trucks transporting essential commodities.
Reports have attributed the ongoing blockade to NSCN-IM, ZUF (Kamson Group), the United Naga Council (UNC), Senapati District Students, JTM, and NPO. We call upon the competent authorities to investigate the situation, uphold the rule of law, and ensure that no individual or group unlawfully obstructs a national highway.
National highways are public lifelines and must remain open for every citizen without discrimination. The Constitution of India guarantees equality before the law and freedom of movement. Denying access to essential commodities through prolonged obstruction places the lives and welfare of innocent civilians at risk. We therefore urge the authorities to act without delay, restore the free movement of vehicles, protect truck drivers, and ensure that essential supplies reach Kangpokpi District safely.

Justice must be impartial and applied equally to all. Thousands of people gathered in Kangpokpi to protest what they describe as the unwarranted arrest of Kuki CSO leaders, expressing concern over what they see as selective enforcement of the law. The protesters called for equal justice, due process, and an impartial investigation into all acts of violence, regardless of the identity of those responsible.
The demonstrators also questioned why, according to their claims, no arrests have been made in connection with the killing of three Kuki pastors and other Kuki civilians, or the burning of several Kuki villages allegedly carried out by the NSCN Eastern Flank, NSCN-IM, and ZUF (Kamson Group). They urged the authorities to investigate these allegations thoroughly, identify those responsible based on evidence, and ensure that anyone found responsible is held accountable under the law. The protesters emphasized that justice should not be selective and that lasting peace can only be achieved through fairness, accountability, and equal protection for every community.

This is my humble appeal to the people of Nagaland.
On 3rd May 2023, the ALL TRIBAL STUDENTSโ UNION, MANIPUR (ATSUM) organized a TRIBAL SOLIDARITY RALLY across all Hill Districts of Manipur, including Ukhrul, Tamenglong, Senapati, Chandel, Kangpokpi, Tengnoupal, Moreh, and Saikul. The rally was held in response to the Manipur High Court decision, which was perceived as a threat to the existence of the Kuki and Naga communities.
On the same day, members of the Meitei community began targeting the Kuki-Zo community in Imphal. This included acts of killing, arson targeting houses and vehicles, assaults on women and children, and the destruction of religious places.
It is regrettable that the Naga community, which had been instrumental in organizing the TRIBAL SOLIDARITY RALLY, chose to remain silent during the attacks on the Kuki-Zo community instead of supporting their fellow tribal brethren. When representatives of ATSUM, comprising Naga leaders, were approached, they stated their intention to "remain neutral." This position appears inconsistent with the spirit of the TRIBAL SOLIDARITY RALLY they had earlier advocated. This perceived betrayal has left a deep and lasting impact.
Further, under the interpretation of certain Tangkhul leaders, "neutrality" has taken on a different meaning. Reports indicate that some Tangkhul leaders facilitated a meeting between representatives of Meitei organizations โ including COCOMI, FOCS, Haomee Federation, AMUCO, and Arambai Tenggol โ and the NSCN-IM leadership under Mr. Thuingaleng Muivah at Hebron Camp, Dimapur. This engagement with a community that the people of Nagaland have supported for decades reportedly led to NSCN-IM extending support to Meitei groups opposed to the TRIBAL SOLIDARITY RALLY.
Additionally, certain Tangkhul and Liangmai leaders associated with the former Chief Minister, Shri Nongthombam Biren Singh, have allegedly been engaged in a sustained campaign of misinformation targeting the peace-loving Kuki-Zo community. It is alleged that this was done in exchange for patronage from Meitei groups. This culminated in an incident in Litan Sareikhong Village on _6th February 2026_.
When Kuki-Zo CSO leaders and MLAs sought to resolve the matter through established tribal customary mechanisms, the Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL), under the leadership of Mr. Sword Vashum, brother of NSCN-IM leader VS ATEM, along with other CSO leaders from Ukhrul, opted for confrontation over dialogue.
On _13th May 2026_, Tangkhul NSCN-IM cadres and their associates in ZUF-Kamson allegedly ambushed and killed Rev. Dr. Vumthang Sitlhou, Rev. Kaigoulun Lhouvum, and Pastor Paogoulun Sitlhou. To date, no arrests have been made in connection with this incident.
In light of these developments, I earnestly appeal to the people of Nagaland to ensure that issues pertaining to Manipur remain within Manipur and are not extended elsewhere. As the late Dr. S.C. Jamir once observed, "Tangkhul leaders are the ones who do not wish to associate with Nagaland, as their alignment with the Meitei community runs deep."
I urge you not to be misled by vested interests from some Tangkhul and Liangmai leaders who are allegedly working in line with the Meitei expansionist policy. Certain self-styled individuals appear to be pursuing narrow agendas with support from Meitei groups.
It is also pertinent to note that the Tangkhul community is not listed among the indigenous peoples of Nagaland. This is the most appropriate time to collectively reject divisive politics and supremacist agendas from Tangkhul for the sake of peace and tribal unity.

KOHUR Press Release | 18 July 2026
The Kuki Organization for Human Rights Trust (KOHUR) has called upon the Government of India to establish an independent judicial commission of inquiry into the escalation of violence following the LitanโShareikhong incident of 7 February 2026 and the 13 May 2026 killing of three Kuki-Zo Christian leadersโDr. Rev. Vumthang Shithlou, Rev. Kaigoulen Singsit, and Pastor Paogoulen Shithlou.
KOHUR stated that what began as a localized altercation should be thoroughly investigated to determine how it escalated into wider communal violence, leading to loss of lives, destruction of villages, displacement of civilians, and prolonged instability. The organization also called for a comprehensive investigation into the ambush that claimed the lives of the three Christian leaders, including identifying those who planned, directed, and executed the attack, and ensuring that all those responsible are brought to justice through due process of law.
The organization further emphasized that truth must be established through credible evidence and an impartial investigation rather than public allegations or speculation. KOHUR welcomed lawful accountability and reiterated that criminal responsibility, if established, rests solely with individuals or organizations found guilty under the law, and should never be used to stigmatize an entire community.
KOHUR urged the Government of India to act without delay, stating that an independent, transparent, and credible inquiry is essential to uphold the rule of law, restore public confidence, deliver justice to the victims and their families, and lay the foundation for lasting peace and reconciliation in Manipur.

PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Date: July 18, 2026
The Molhoi Students' Union (MSU), a constituent unit of the Thadou Students' Association General Headquarters (TSA-GHQ) dedicated to education, career counselling, and student welfare, expresses its deep shock and profound sadness over the sudden arrest of Mr. Lunminthang @ Jack Sitlhou.
Mr. Lunminthang, son of Mr. Paolen Sitlhou and Mrs. Nemkim Sitlhou of Molhoi Village, Kangpokpi District, was arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at approximately 1:30 PM. The arrest took place immediately after he voluntarily complied with a routine statement call at the Leimakhong Police Station.
The MSU strongly asserts that this incident stems from a severe case of misunderstanding or misidentification. To the absolute best of our knowledge, Mr. Lunminthang has no involvement in any anti-national, militant, or unlawful activities.
Since Molhoi Village is located within the Leimakhong area, local youth and residents frequently cooperate with local Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to maintain regional stability. The MSU emphasises that such participation is purely civic and should not be misconstrued as anti-peace or criminal activity.
The MSU raises serious concerns over the procedural manner of the arrest. It is deeply troubling that a citizen cooperating with a routine police inquiry was handed over to a national agency without any prior notification given to his family or local community authorities.
The MSU urges the NIA and related authorities to conduct a thorough, transparent review of the case to rectify this potential misidentification and appeals for his release on humanitarian grounds. We request that national agencies focus their vital resources on authentic threats to peace and illegal activities rather than innocent civilians.
"Misidentifications heavily impact the socio-communal standing of our people. We urgently request the intervention of the Thadou Inpi Manipur (TIM) and the Thadou Students' Association General Headquarters (TSA-GHQ) to look into the welfare of Mr. Lunminthang and ensure justice is served."
The Molhoi Students' Union remains unwavering in its commitment to peace, education, and the rule of law, and looks forward to a swift, fair, and just resolution to this matter.

PUBLIC CLARIFICATION FROM THE HEAD OF THE FAMILY
Regarding: The Arrest of Mr. Lunminthang @ Jack Sitlhou
Date: 18 July 2026
As the head of the family, I am issuing this public clarification regarding the arrest of my son, Mr. Lunminthang @ Jack Sitlhou, on 18 July 2026. Our family is deeply shocked and saddened by this development, and we wish to present the facts regarding our family, our values, and our position.
Our family belongs to the Thadou community. We possess valid Thadou Tribe Certificates and have always lived according to the Christian values and peace-loving teachings of the Thadou Baptist Association (TBA). We are law-abiding citizens who respect the Constitution of India and the rule of law.
As his father, I firmly state that my son is innocent. To the best of our knowledge, he has never been involved with any militant organisation, unlawful association, or illegal activity. He has not participated in violence or any activity that threatens public peace. Throughout his life, he has conducted himself responsibly, and his daily activities have always been known to our family.
On 18 July 2026, my son responded to a police summons and voluntarily appeared at Leimakhong Police Station to cooperate with the authorities and provide a statement in connection with the recent community-related incidents. While fully cooperating with the investigation, he was subsequently taken into custody by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
This unexpected development has caused immense pain and distress to our entire family. He went to the police station in good faith to assist the investigation, and we respectfully request that his cooperation be taken into consideration.
We sincerely appeal to the Government of Manipur and the National Investigation Agency to conduct a fair, impartial, and evidence-based investigation. We respectfully request that my son not be prejudged and that he be afforded all the legal protections and due process guaranteed under the law.
As a family, we place our faith in the justice system and pray that the truth will emerge through a fair investigation. We hope justice will prevail, and we respectfully seek appropriate legal consideration in accordance with the law.
May truth, justice, and peace prevail.
