The Trump administration is proposing to eliminate automated traffic camera enforcement in the nation’s capital. D.C. generated $267.3 million from the cameras in fiscal 2025.

Mamdani wants to make you pay MORE to own your car.
Not because you did anything wrong — just because your car exists.
He’s not taxing billionaires.
He’s taxing the people who drive their kids to school.
Remember this at the polls today until the ballots are counted!
If you own a car in NYC, this is your warning.

The car tax is just another way to nickel-and-dime working Virginians. You shouldn’t have to pay rent to the government just to own your car.
That's why I am running to get rid of it—for good.
This is insanity — absolute insanity.
New York City taxpayers and businesses are being caged, crushed and crippled—
@LincolnRestler@TransAlt are responsible for this mess, loss of jobs, revenues and crippling movement of people, goods and services @NYCMayor@NYCCouncil
🚨 Suffolk’s $100 “Work Zone” Speed Trap 🚨
On a Sunday night at 7:37 PM, Suffolk mailed a $100 “work zone” speeding ticket from the US-58 SPSA Interchange — a time when no workers were present and traffic was light.
This isn’t safety enforcement — it’s revenue collection disguised as safety. Suffolk is running cameras 24/7, ticketing people in so-called “work zones” that aren’t active, and pocketing millions from drivers who were simply traveling the normal highway speed limit.
I’ve filed a Freedom of Information Act request to the City of Suffolk and VDOT demanding records that show:
• Whether any construction was taking place that evening,
• What authorization exists for enforcing reduced speeds when no workers are present, and
• How much money Suffolk has collected through these so-called “work zone” citations.
Safety laws should protect people — not fund city budgets through deception.
More to come when those FOIA responses arrive.
@AT415287548@SFMTA_Muni@JoelEngardio townplanners don’t want traffic to “flow” they want to create congestion-on-purpose. I am not kidding. they say this “encourages modal shift”
A lot of facts have come to light since the Prop K campaign and election: none of it favorable.
I believe some voters would change their minds. Particularly if allegations of @JoelEngardio censorship and collusion result in criminal charges.
All their promises were disproven:
Sand removal is now required MORE often
Traffic is WAY up (and 19th Ave repaving starts tomorrow)
Accidents on Sunset Blvd are WAY up
A few hammocks and rented art pieces do NOT look anything like the lovely renderings of an actual park that were dangled in front of voters
Data shows usage from zip codes that voted in favor of K are abysmal
Social media manipulation and censorship has been revealed
San Francisco Supervisor Joel Engardio appears to have been recalled by voters in the Sunset District Tuesday night, which stems from his endorsement of Prop K. This controversial ballot measure closed a portion of the Great Highway and replaced it with what's now called Sunset Dunes Park.
According to early election results, 64.7% of District 4 voters voted 'Yes' to remove Engardio from office, while 35.4% voted against it. https://t.co/wXCNOaAodt
Big win for Virginia drivers! Starting August 8, the Coleman Bridge, a vital link between Yorktown and Gloucester Point, will be toll-free, saving Virginians nearly $60 million. This historic bridge, the largest double-swing span in the U.S., will continue connecting families, commuters, and local businesses, without added costs.
