@AndrewGA_WX@spann@CC_StormWatch Great sunsets in Starkvegas. Don’t know why that is, but I still remember them from college. Different from where I grew up and different from where I live now..
TRIFECTA: Browns Ferry is home to three boiling-water reactors that produce up to 3,400 megawatts of power in Alabama and is one of the nation’s largest generators of electricity.
On this day back in 1974, Unit 2 first connected to the grid.

Roman is on her way. 🚀
Years of work, extraordinary engineering, and one incredible launch.
Congratulations to the entire @NASA team and our partners who made this mission possible. The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is about to open an entirely new window into our universe.
Please consider giving to these critical organizations on behalf of a wonderful family and an incredible story. Joel’s heart and who he is shines through this effort.
@Tiger__Vibes@BreidenFehoko Y’all don’t understand this yet - but your head coach is morally questionable, brilliant, and def on the spectrum. Once he gets something in his head, he will not stop - right, wrong, or indifferent. He’ll win for you, but you gotta put up with his BS as payment 🙃
A month ago today was the scariest day of our lives.
It’s always someone else’s kid…until it’s YOUR kid. All the heart wrenching, heartbreaking things you’ve witnessed others endure - the kind of stuff you really can’t imagine battling - suddenly became our reality.
We were pulled out of an ER room. It was just me, Katie, a doctor and a chaplain. Our world was rocked. Cal had a large brain tumor.
Our future was uncertain. But we quickly remembered that we knew who held our future.
God placed the right people and the right places directly on our path. Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and St. Jude have saved our son and put him on the path to a full, healthy life.
Now, it’s the Coleman family’s mission to give hope and healing to so many others who are walking and will walk similar paths.
In the coming days, I’ll share more. But in talking with Cal about it, he and we are committed to being a beacon for other children and families in the middle of life’s storms.
We are launching the Cal Coleman Collective - which honestly right now is just a cool logo and mission more than an organization.
The logo features Cal’s side profile looking to God above, and is green (Cal’s favorite color), gray (brain tumor awareness) and gold (childhood cancer awareness).
One day, we’d love for this to become a full-fledged nonprofit. But we’re starting here and hope you’ll join us with our first ambitious goal.
We want to raise $100,000 - $50K each to Le Bonheur and St. Jude.
The original plan was to create one big fundraiser and split the donations evenly, but I’ve since learned it isn’t as easy to receive and donate large sums of money as you’d think it’d be. So, we’re doing this the more difficult way.
We’ve begun two fundraisers in honor of Cal with one for Le Bonheur and one for St Jude. I’ve included links below.
If you love Cal, have been touched by his strength, or simply have a desire to help kids beat the odds, please consider joining us.
No gift is too small. And just to make it clear, these funds are going to St Jude and Le Bonheur. Not us. This is all about helping others who are or will be in our shoes.
By my math, if we could get just 5,000 total folks to give 10 bucks to both the Le Bonheur and St Jude fundraisers, we’d hit our goal!
We want to uplift families for the rest of our lives and this would be a tremendous first step in that direction.
We can’t thank you all enough for all you’ve done for us during all this. The prayers. The meals. The gifts. They continue to sustain us.
Now collectively, let’s start sustaining kids and families for years and years to come!

@dave_hegan Do you get any financial assistance for the clean up and restoration? I am so sorry about this dude. Hope y’all aren’t on the hook for every $, because that looks expensive. Beyond the $, this is just a sad sight to behold :/
@nasa the ONLY thing my 3 week old daughter will stop crying for and watch at 2 a.m. is your 30 min Space Out: Moon Phases video on NASA+. For this, I am eternally grateful.
@tolkienzone Hint: it placed massive weight on dialogue/writing, storytelling, and casting..and it used CGI very…responsibly, shall we say. However, these things are no longer incentivized in cinema. The opposite of this is considered the ‘winning’ formula, in fact. It’s a damn shame.
@mellon_heads Creativity/originality is dead in cinema. We structured this industry through greed, and it is showing. Spectacle and visual stimuli are incentivized bc they draw initial attention, pave the way for 2ndary content, and MAKE $. Originality, detail, writing, story - are worthless.
@EverythingRebs This is actually less subjective than folks think. You can’t follow through with studs up and then on top of that, he contacted the other player. Gonna be a Red card.
