Every time someone says "Men don't help themselves" I think of the many videos like this I have seen:
Women in power (who those snide posters also claim don't exist) blocking men from helping themselves or having the same aid and awareness provisions while claiming gender equality.

Today marks the 10-year anniversary of October 27, 2015, when Jess Phillips laughed at male suicide, arguing men's issues can be raised easily in male-dominant Parliament—pushing back on the need for IMD debate.
She was an MP for only 5½ months at that point.

Philip Davies reacts to her laugh with: "I'm not entirely sure why it's so humorous.”
He goes on to raise very important men's issues for IMD debate.

Her claim? Irrelevant. Parliament never reflected the general male population—for most of voting history, only 1% of men could vote, so it was always only a tiny elite.

There have also been a lot of anti patriarchal people that have done damage to men and not really attempted to change things that affect men even though they say care about men's issues.
