Field sketches are a useful form of qualitative data. They make students think Geographically about what they are looking at! This is my FAVOURITE student example ...... (she also loved art!)

WHEN CAN YOU SEE THE PAPER?
“Centre personnel can see the paper after the awarding body’s published finishing time for the examination or when all candidates have completed it at the centre” JCQ
Very enjoyable and inspiring lecture from @ParasChandaria today at @The_GA#GAConf25 - really made me want to go on safari again! Emotional and thought provoking-thanks 🙏🏻
Blue balls!🔵 #contentreduction@PearsonEdexcel “It’s impacting our A level uptake and making geography less enjoyable for the students.” 🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵
We're at #GAConf25 this week, and it's been brilliant to get all of your feedback on what the priorities should be for geography reform at both our session and on the stand.
Come and say hello and use our voting tubes to have your say 🗳️🌍 #geographyteacher@The_GA

A wonderful day at #GAConf25. Thank you to @TeachWithAlice for presenting with me and for all the great conversations with many geographers. First conference for the little one so didn’t get to as many sessions, but still fantastic! @The_GA bring on next year!
They must have been told to peddle this line. They must have. No journalist with an ounce of sense would choose to conduct themselves like this. Fair play to Badenoch - ran rings round them.
@Map_Addict Read the article. AI is the future! AI memes are not. Not sure what an emerging nation has to do with the chat. You opened up a discussion, I offered a perspective. That is all.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Scenes from Grasmere to Ullswater 💔😢 Folk “fly camping”. Basically pitching up wherever they want despite signs saying not to do so (some signs ripped up and burnt along with trees) in the #lakedistrict UTTER IGNORANCE with no care for laws and more!🤬 I feel it’s about time the @lakedistrictnpa and their “business partners” have a long good look in a mirror.
If it ain’t the proliferation of holiday lets and second homes causing harm to communities in the most beautiful corner of England? It’s now daft folk that think they can do what they want and ruin and cause harm to both nature and the land within a World Heritage Site.
Enough is enough for many locals (that are left at least)!
But there’s only token support or any kind of “management”.
A golden goose many businesses and the tourist board sought to lay golden eggs is now becoming summat else 😢😢
No joined up thinking for communities or nature. Just money grabbing influence from some sadly.
A lack of outdoors education in schools and much, much more besides.
Summat needs doing or at the VERY least a NATIONAL PUBLIC CAMPAIGN to make folk aware of any respect for the Countryside Code! 🤞

Very interesting census data for #Alevel#geography when teaching diversity, tensions and social clustering in the Diverse places unit. #geographyteacher
