@redeemed_zoomer It's southern etiquette and shows respect to someone, typically of someone socially "higher" than you. I refer to my boss at work as "Mr. Firstname".

It's a hold over from social etiquette that never went away in the South.

Either way, I think it’s great that Fr. Mike and other Catholic leaders are trying to help those who struggle with same sex attraction to live a holy life.
