A special round of applause for @Ryanair who were too cheap to rebook everyone on alternative flights during storm Isha but ended up paying 3 or 4 landing fees for zigzagging their planes across Europe trying to land.
Got a reply email from the CC team @aerlingus yesterday. Let's just say I got the most generic response ever. A claim in the Small Claims Courts seems ever more likely.
The @aerlingus Twitter page and their telephone service is utter rubbish. Looking into making a small claims procedure as talking to the @aerlingus over the phone is like talking to a wall. #complaint#aerlingus
@aerlingus when providing receipts for flights purchased you guys should really seperate “carrier imposed charges” from the Taxes and charges section of the receipt. This malpractice will be brought into light towards the @CCPCIreland and @IrishTimes pricewatch
@aerlingus barking up the same description without any consideration as to the whole issue of why you are doing malpractice. Shame on you. An official complaint has been filed. Along with that a complaint to the consumer watchdog @CCPCIreland will be filed
@AerLingus can anyone on your team explain why are you guys lack transparency when it comes to issuing full refunds and not advising clients when writing the refund form that it’s not only fares that are not refunded but also taxes and charges? #shameonyouaerlingus#aerlingus
