@liannesanderson ‘All of a sudden’. 😝
Where have YOU been Lianne while women, including mothers of players and payers themselves have been pleading for high profile players to speak up?
Hey, don’t want to spoil any of those punditry jobs though right? That’s why ‘these people’ need to do it.
@FeministRoar@Transgendertrd@cwknews Yes it is indeed welcome news.
Please can we all share the hell out of the link? Many thanks 😅😅. https://t.co/gDlKtHNcsP
@James_Baker_Run I wanted & still want fairness for females. Parkrun could have given us that by using sex at birth categories. Instead they *chose* to do this.
Yes, records mean a lot to some people - FEMALES, for example, which is why we get angry that MALES have stolen them from us, all…
@BenPBradshaw @DAaronovitch Also: while I’ve got you, your behaviour in the Commons towards women you disagree with from your own party was appalling, and I know many Labour women who share my view.
@sharrond62@RogerPielkeJr@Scienceofsport Well said Sharron.
The presumption that women and girls should shut up and shift over, that it is reasonable for them to be collateral damage if a man wants something, is so ingrained and normalised that it is invisible to those who benefit from it.
@RogerPielkeJr@Scienceofsport You dont get to run your experiment on women’s sport. So thousands of young girls and women’s lose out on what’s rightfully theirs. The whole world knows the physical difference between a male and a female.
Male violence against women and girls is not a "both sides" issue.
There are simply no examples of feminists issuing these kinds of violent threats.
Every time women organise to discuss our rights we are faced with abuse. It shouldn't be hard to condemn that unequivocally.
