@SamRyderMusic The lyrics of Mountain resonate with us for how hard our children work to overcome obstacles in life and so we are going to sing it as part of our Y6 Leavers' Assembly at the end of term. Would you be able to give them a few words of encouragement? Thank you. 🤞😀
Such an inspiring day at @bryedusummit today. So many take away ideas from @PippaBusch which will really help with a couple of our pupils. Great ideas on #FlipTheNarrative from @DrRuthMoyse and a great session from @gdmorewood verifying why we do what we do. 🤩🤩
@DeputyGrocott Date and shortest possible title. LI is verbally shared with children at start of the lesson, while they are writing the date/title in their books.
Sending lots of love to Y6 colleagues who are going through the ‘they won’t learn any more’, ‘they might just need to know about…’ ‘have I got the access arrangements and the timetable right so I don’t get accused of cheating’ waking up at night phase of SATS whilst hearing…
@KateJones_teach Such a useful morning of training Kate. Thank you for sharing your ideas and resources. I'm looking forward to being able to put them into practice.
@primaryteachew Me too. 🤣🤣🤣 I always revert practise back to the verb root and put 'to' in front of it. Or my old favourite ... 'c' comes before 's', 'n' for noun comes before 'v' for verb so practice = noun, practise = verb. 🤯🤯🤯🤯
Save the date! Monday 22nd November 2021 3.30-4.30pm. Open Afternoon for our new Reception 2022 starters. Please share with any parents you know who have a child starting school next year. More details to follow soon. Come and join in the fun!
@imaginecentre @one_to_read@_borntosparkle@richreadalot@StephenConnor7 @TeachingAHT Y6 Inheritance and evolution. The children always love the lesson where they have to draw the offspring of a Mr Man and a Little Miss. We also use the book Moth by Isabel Thomas. As a school, we always try to use as many books as we can to link into our topics.
Our new Y6 cohort have settled in really well and are showing us how neatly and creatively they can present their work. We were thinking about what it means to show 'commitment' in the start of our RE work this term. They have produced beautiful work and we are so proud of them
