- your partner's a teacher
- your partner's self employed
- you're already on mat leave
- you work in a private school
- your partner has changed job recently

One of the biggest misconceptions people have about SPL is that it wouldn't be worth it if their partner is the higher earner. This isn't true. SPL can be taken in a way that only impacts the mother, gaining her paid holiday, partners salary 100% unaffected 😊
