Digital content is evening the playing field between teachers and their students. Teachers and students are now creating, sharing, and learning through the same digital platforms! It builds a reciprocity that didn't exist in the same way even a decade ago. #IM422

I remember when I was in Kindergarten we still used the green and black screen computer with floppy disks for our computer lab time! Isn't to funny learning a new skill that becomes obsolete so quickly? 😅😂 What equivalent do you think current students will have? #IM422

Kids in Kindergarten are learning to independently operate Google Meets/Zoom Meetings, which is actually now a complete job skill! #IM422

@FlorPenaloza2 I have seen a lot of positives come out of Smartboards for students. Especially during observations with 1st grade and Kindergarten classrooms, the kids really enjoy the Smartboard and learn a lot through the lessons! They take to it, it's adults who have to adjust lol #IM422

One I see on here that I hadn't thought of is NO Sarcasm! Especially in Special Education where students, particularly those on the Autism Spectrum, might not understand your sarcasm at all and become frustrated or discouraged by it. Let me know any that catch your eye! #IM422

One classroom management technique I try to implement in classrooms I work in, and would in my own classroom, is the use of open windows and natural lighting. I think creates a more organic learning space and helps students feel more calm.

@AndiFrank8 I think I would organize them in a way that provided each student with as much space as possible regardless of social distancing protocols. I think students need that room to safely explore their own ideas.

@Christi10932843 Think about a student who has a family that cannot afford Wi-Fi at home... Many schools do not have hotspots available for students to take home.
