If dressing up in a costume, talking in funny voices and handing out candy is what many teachers do on Halloween, then EVERY DAY is Halloween as far as PreK and elementary school teachers are concerned.🍎🤷🏻♂️❤️
Help kids identify their emotions with FREE Feelings Scales! Emotion identification is not only the first step to self-regulation, but it is also a coping skill in and of itself. Includes either 6 or 14 different emotions.
When I started calling parents to tell them what their kids did well, rather than always what they did wrong, my entire classroom dynamic changed for the better - and parents were happy to hear from me.
Please don't remove students from physical education, music, Arts, or other classes to remediate them in other areas. These classes are just as important for overall education and may be their favorite classes and one reason they like school.

I used to think the volume of the classroom dictated the quality of the teacher. I now know learning can be loud and can be messy. Loud classrooms aren’t necessarily managed poorly and quiet ones don’t always indicate learning is happening.
