President Kagame: "I can't afford to behave the way you want me to behave in dealing with this problem.
Please, also understand us and understand the people you are dealing with.
We are not the same old idiots you dealt with fifty years ago.
We are not. Not at all, not anywhere near to that."
Rwanda's Teleport achieves Tier 3 Certification from the @worldteleport (WTA), becoming the second fully certified teleport in Africa and the first space agency-operated teleport globally to get WTA certification.
A milestone for Rwanda's space sector and a recognition of the country's growing capabilities in satellite communications infrastructure.

We will put this in your face @US_SrAdvisorAF@UNHumanRights so that in the future you don’t say, “We didn’t know about it!”
Since 8 a.m. this Friday, May 15, 2026, the Kinshasa regime has ordered the massive deployment of heavily armed combat helicopters from Kalemie to participate in the ongoing strikes against Minembwe and its surroundings.
This military reinforcement adds to the arsenal already used against the densely populated areas of Minembwe, including combat drones, heavy artillery, and Sukhoi-25 fighter jets.
This military campaign of extreme gravity confirms the manifest and criminal intent of the Kinshasa regime to wipe Minembwe off the map and annihilate its population, under the specious pretext that it benefits from the support and political cover of certain countries in the international community. This sense of impunity, fueled by external complicity and a scandalous international silence, further encourages Kinshasa to continue its murderous operations against innocent civilian populations.
AFC-M23 said it will reiterate its unwavering commitment to defend and protect civilian populations by all necessary means

Hello,
As we transition from the rainy to dry period, seasonal illnesses tend to increase:
1. FLU &COVID-19: Maintain good hygiene & protect others if you have symptoms
2. MALARIA: Eliminate mosquito breeding sites, drain standing water & get tested early
Stay healthy& safe!
In the last month, Rwanda has shown you:
🔹The FDLR
🔹The European Mercenaries
🔹The offensive foreign forces
🔹The stockpiles of weaponry at our border.
Yet the world still downplays the gravity of the security threats we face. Why? Is it racism? Is it disdain? Is it a calculated geopolitical choice?
The only irrefutable proof left of the danger we face is our destruction. And it seems this is an acceptable outcome for many international actors. They will swoop in with something as truly useless as MONUSCO or another UNAMIR, then spend the next 20 years giving our people biscuits and cardboard.
One thing is certain: The Government of Rwanda will protect its people and everyone who lives here—resolutely and decisively. The question is not whether Rwanda will defend itself, but what must happen to prevent further escalation.
The answer is obvious. The root of this crisis lies in the DRC’s continued collusion with genocidal forces and its deliberate fueling of regional instability.
International actors must demand an immediate end to Kinshasa’s support for FDLR and associated extremist elements. The presence of offensive foreign forces in the region, operating under the guise of ‘peacekeeping,’ must be removed. Permanent security guarantees must also be established along our shared border.
Regarding the inter-Congolese conflict, dialogue between the DRC government and M23 is not only the most pragmatic approach but the only one that offers the prospect of lasting peace.
Anything short of this is a meaningless delay, a refusal to confront reality, and a failure to learn from history.
We told western countries many times that, for the past 30 years, the FDLR genocidal force has been a permanent threat to Rwanda, especially as they are now supported by the Congolese government and embedded in the FARDC.
Unfortunately, these world's powers refused to listen to us, arguing that the FDLR combatants are just a bunch of "old and weak" people, and that Rwanda is using them as a pretext to "invade Congo for minerals".
Yet, the FDLR, a movement that has continously recruiting on its genocide ideology, was even supported by @MONUSCO, a 26-year old UN peacekeeping mission that was supposed to neutralize them, as per several UN Security Council resolutions.
And today, a group of FDLR combatants captured on the battlefield (including Brig Gen Ezechiel Gakwerere, one of the murderers of Queen Rosalie Gicanda - here in a FARDC uniform -), were handed over to Rwanda by the AFC/M23, a rebel movement that is doing the very job that the self-righteous international community should have done over the past 30 years.
But guess who they now call the "villain"...
Whenever the UN loses control of a situation — or gets embarrassed (like when the Western powers couldn't stop the M23, or when MONUSCO was defeated) — they make up new massacres and make the mainstream press and their NGOs spread the word. Now, with all the videos we've seen of the M23 arriving in Bukavu and the people there being happy to see them, and all the selfies of the locals with M23 members that we are still discovering, should we believe in a "massacre of children" by the M23? No. Enough is enough.
