So happy to join our Rwandan sisters and brothers to celebrate this historic moment — RSSB Tigers’ winning of BAL championship. The Tigers is most welcome to Beijing in September.
In the context of the 55th anniversary of China–Rwanda diplomatic relations and China–Africa People-to-People Exchange Year, we look forward to further strengthening exchanges and cooperation between China and Rwanda, and tightening the bonds of friendship between our two peoples.
On June 14, Amb. GAO Wenqi attended the Genocide Memorial Kung-Fu Wushu Tournament and East African Martial Arts Invitation Tournament. Amb. GAO encouraged athletes to carry forward the spirit of self-discipline, benevolence, and peace advocated by Chinese Wushu. He hoped the athletes could take the China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges and the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Rwanda as an opportunity, to promote mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples.

This morning at the National Heroes Mausoleum, President Kagame and First Lady Jeannette Kagame will lay a wreath to pay tribute to national heroes as Rwanda marks National Heroes Day. Follow live: https://t.co/ORvsTLGZRb
Rwanda rose through the vision, courage, and sacrifice of its liberators.
Our heroes, past and present, embody a dignity that nothing and no one can undermine.
To those who believe we forget easily or mistake restraint for compliance: our history is our backbone.
Endless gratitude. A legacy fully claimed and upheld.
This reminder is not a lesson, but a self-evident truth.
Carried by the strength and memory of our heroes, we remain unshakeable and untouchable.
We move forward in their footsteps, without deviation. 🇷🇼✊🏾
On 15 November, Ambassador Gao Wenqi attended China-Rwanda Business Matching Event, accompanied by Counselor Gao Zhiqiang. Mr. Theoneste HIGANIRO, Chairman of RCAO, Mr. Jean Paul, Head of Trade Cluster of PSF, and Mr. Huang Qilin, Chairman of CCCRW, were also present. He pointed out that our private sector cooperation is becoming increasingly close in areas such as agriculture, infrastructure, health, and education, contributing to the steady growth of bilateral trade and investment, and creating substantial benefits for the people of both nations. Amb.Gao emphasized that China is willing to work with Rwanda to continuously expand cooperation and jointly build a China-Rwanda community with a shared future.
