A high-level defence delegation of the Republic of Belarus, led by Major General Muraveiko Pavel Nikolayevich, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces and First Deputy Defence Minister, called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, NI (M), HJ, Chief of the Air Staff at Air Headquarters, Islamabad.

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, regional security, defence cooperation and prospects for enhanced military collaboration were discussed. The Chief of the Air Staff reaffirmed Pakistan Air Force's commitment to further strengthening bilateral defence ties underscoring the importance of expanding cooperation through joint training, exercises, technological collaboration and defence industrial partnership.

The visiting dignitary appreciated the remarkable progress achieved by Pakistan Air Force lauding operational preparedness, technological advancements and self-reliance initiatives. He expressed Belarus' commitment to further expanding bilateral defence cooperation.

The meeting reflects the shared commitment of Pakistan and Belarus to further strengthening defence cooperation and advancing collaboration in areas of mutual interest.

پاکستان کو فعال ریاست بنانے کا خواب ،چھوٹے صوبوں کا قیام ناگزیر، عوامی ریفرنڈم کرانا پڑے گا

‼️پاکستان میں وسائل کی تقسیم اور حکمرانی کا موجودہ نظام گزشتہ 78 سال سے رائج ہے لیکن وقت کے ساتھ یہ بوسیدہ نظام عوامی ضروریات، نوجوان نسل کی توقعات اور بدلتے ہوئے مسائل کو مؤثر انداز میں حل کرنے میں ناکام ثابت چکاہے ۔

‼️موجودہ حالات میں ضرورت اس امر کی ہے کہ ریاستی اداروں اور حکمرانی کے نظام کو زیادہ مؤثر، عوامی خواہشات کے مطابق بااختیار بنایا جائے، تاکہ فیصلہ سازی عوام کی شمولیت اور ریاستی وسائل کا فائدہ براہِ راست شہریوں تک پہنچ سکے۔

‼️طاقت کا حقیقی سرچشمہ عوام ہیں، اس لیے وسائل اور اختیارات کی تقسیم کو نچلی سطح تک منتقل کرنا پڑے گا۔اگر ہم نے 18 ویں ترمیم کی صوبائیت ، چند سیاسی خاندانوں کی اجارہ داری ، سرداری نظام ، لسانیت اور فرقہ واریت کے عفریت سے نجات پانی ہے تو اس کا واحد حل چھوٹے صوبوں کا قیام ہے۔

‼️اس عمل کے لیے تمام سیاسی جماعتوں کو سیاسی اور ذاتی مفادات سے بالاتر ہو کر عوامی مفاد میں فیصلے کرنا ہوں گے۔ صوبوں کی انتظامی تقسیم کے حوالے سے حتمی فیصلہ عوامی رائے کے ذریعے کیا جا سکتا ہے، جس کے لیے ریفرنڈم ہی واحد راستہ ہے۔

‼️عوامی ریفرنڈم کی روشنی میں چاہے صوبوں کو پانچ حصوں میں یا چھ حصوں میں ایک ہی نام کے ساتھ تقسیم کرنا پڑے یا علیحدہ علیحدہ یہ فیصلہ عوام نے ہی کرنا ہے۔

‼️اس ملک کی بقاء کیلئے عوام کے مسائل کی داد رسی کیلئے یہ راستہ اپنانا پڑے گا۔
عوامی ریفرنڈم کرانا پڑے گا۔

‼️اگر تمام سیاسی جماعتیں سیاست کے نظام پر یقین رکھتی ہیں ، عوام کی فلاح کو مقدم جانتی ہیں تو انہیں اس سیاسی عمل کو عوامی ریفرنڈم کے ذریعے عملی جامعہ پہنانا پڑے گا ۔
