Abdul says “MONEY OUT OF POLITICS”
I asked him why reports indicate that he has taken money from members of the Muslim Brotherhood. He refused to answer and had me removed.
Comparing Sally Rooney to Salman Rushdie is absurd and obscene. Rooney pulled her own books from sale in a vain publicity stunt. Rushdie was hunted for decades by Islamist tyrants. The literary establishment really has lost the plot, says Brendan O’Neill

One of the most misinformed groups in the world has to be people who watch John Oliver religiously, this is one of the better forum posts on the phenomenon of the "comedic-news" segments
👀 “I continue to believe that Putin has things on Trump”: Hillary Clinton makes explosive claim
The former US secretary of state said she remains convinced that the Russian leader possesses compromising material on the American president.
She suggested this could help explain Trump's policies toward Moscow. Clinton also linked her suspicions to the president's reluctance to release files related to Jeffrey Epstein.
Just two of a multitude of bald-faced lies. So forgive me if I laughed when she told Fielder she’d never once lied in her life. Or if I didn’t believe her for a second when she claimed the NYT quote was inaccurate.
🚨BREAKING: Russian oil companies have begun “slowing down” refinery repairs as they begin to running out of funds due to constant Ukrainian attacks.
Might this explain why the U.S. suddenly intervened and demanded Zelenskyy stop striking Putin’s refineries? 🤔
@michaelzlin@mbw61567742 Doesn't look too bad as far as oncology trials go (rolling enrollment, censored events, drop outs). I would have been concerned if the numbers at the last reading were 3 vs 10 (at the last reading), but 10 vs 3 is ok.
Around 02:50, she claims they hadn’t used the Edison in years — total lie — and then at 03:20 comes the whopper: she claims they weren’t using commercial analyzers for fingerstick tests when in fact they were secretly using Siemens machines. https://t.co/2O8UnccMIx
Lavishly compensated darling of the French and international literary world, Édouard Louis, who teaches in America, explicitly justifies political violence. Just an absolute moral shitshow.
🇺🇦🇺🇸👀 Zelensky:
Ukraine is awaiting a response from Rubio regarding the possibility of restoring Starlink satellite connectivity at speeds of up to 400 km/h.
Starlink and Starshield restrictions for Ukraine were lifted an hour ago.
Sources cited by The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump called Musk today to ask him to lift the restrictions. Until earlier, nothing had changed.
What does this mean? First and foremost, it means that Ukrainian interceptor drones can once again defend cities against jet-powered Shahed drones (Geran-4 and Geran-5).
---
Context: Yesterday, Axios learned that Musk had personally ordered the restrictions.
Let's not mistake this for Trump playing the good cop in a bad cop, good cop routine. Starlink is a civilian, privately operated product. Starshield is a military product. Musk's order could not have been implemented without the approval of the Pentagon, headed by Hegseth.
Meanwhile, Patriot interceptor missiles are still being denied to Ukraine, leaving it unable to defend itself against ballistic missiles.
The ballistic missile early warning system is still not operating at 100% of its previous capacity.
---
I think it's obvious to everyone that these restrictions were used as bargaining chips and instruments of pressure against Ukraine, in the context of the US midterm elections and an extremely complicated situation involving Russia.
I'm afraid of what compromises Zelenskyy and Ukraine may have had to make to get most of the American systems restored.
I hope, perhaps, that no such compromises were necessary.
We'll probably find out in the future.
