@NHLRumourReport Too many teams; too many games; watered down talent; watered down rivalries; playoffs are great but more teams means expansion of an already brutal playoff schedule.
@charlieo_conn He could have been key to us getting Quinn Hughes which would have solved our league worst PP. Instead we wonder how many points Jett will get in Lehigh this season. Just saying...
@JoyOnBroad Yet somehow Gary Bettman determined that the Flyers had no claim to our RFA rights to Cater Hart and we lost (regardless of public opinion on Carter's actions) an organization asset with value.
@jasonmyrt It should have been Quinn Hughes. How different would that league worst PP been with Quinn running it. And why couldn't Philly be a destination rather than the Devils. Maybe talk Jack and Luke to come south from the Meadowlands. What a lost opportunity and Zeev Buium was the key.
@PJamesJenkins@TimKellySports@MattGelb And he took a WS Champion that realistically had a window to 3-peat and failed miserably. Playoff results were worse every year under his leadership and attendance declined every year.
@ctherien6 After England scored to take a 1-0 lead, they dropped back 6 defenders & Argentina was allowed to test their defenses systematically for weaknesses. Utimately breaking through, Argentina for the 4th straight game was able to score late goals. Playing not to lose, England choked.
@JoyOnBroad@Ywolok Kevin Hayes fingerprints?? It is plausible Cutter wanted to join the team the same manner as the Flyers did for Porter, burning the 1st Yr of his ELC & playing with the Flyers immediately after the college season ended...especially if the org had made that commitment pre-Briere.
@bsbr666@EKing58294@jasonmyrt@DanKnightly It was really disturbing how they villainized Cutter. Everything is negotiable and if Fletcher made a commitment to the kid to burn Yr 1 of the ELC, then the organization should have honored that regardless of the GM change. Between that and the Torts act, don't blame Cutter.
@bsbr666@EKing58294@jasonmyrt@DanKnightly Exactly. Losing a top 5 pick instead of burning the 1st yr of Cutter's ELC was a failure on Danny. Clearly he learned because they burned Porter's 1st yr of the ELC. We also can't even begin to quantify how much better draft position might have been for Celebrini, Carlsson etc
