All suburban railway stations in Mumbai must be demolished and recreated from scratch with wider access and platform exits to cater to such a heavy footfall.

Also, get rid of escalators which malfunction most of the time if they cannot be maintained.

Not to forget the illegal hawkers encroaching on the rail foot-over bridge causing more congestion.
