Writing a letter is easy — typing, printing, tagging a few handles, and posting the photo.
Getting BMC to actually fix the open manholes, clear the garbage, remove the encroachments, and make the footpath walkable is a completely different ask.
Hoping see if this one moves beyond the “noted and filed” stage.
Good Luck.

Fire brought under control by Mumbai Fire Brigade.

Bandra Banter:
Bandra Gymkhana really said “community spirit” and then immediately called the general secretary a "chor" over a staff lunch bill.
Kitchen still shut after the #FDA raid, members left hungry for both food and answers.
Peak elite problems. 🍽️
Bill of bad blood at #BandraGymkhana: A ‘chor’ jibe over staff lunch invoice sparks club #feud, leaving members hungry for answers including reopening of kitchen services, which remain shut after #FDA conducted raid last month.

Nice try.
Your “go to the doctor, not the government” analogy works great for a stomach ache—less so when the government can’t even stop people from running illegal construction and untested vehicles while the city sits at 300+ AQI.
“Just buy an EV and go vegan first” is a very convenient way to dodge the fact that basic enforcement has collapsed.
Almost as if you’d rather lecture random people than question the government that actually controls the regulators and the cops.
Bold strategy.
Mumbai’s flex game is very strong.
But Who’s the undisputed
𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠 👑𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐥𝐞𝐱 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬?
The face that multiplies overnight, blocks signals, pedestrian crossing, windows, balconies, views and refuses to leave?

Bombay Port Trust Salt Pan Road, Mumbai. 🚩 🇮🇳
My friends since the last & the past 9 years.
Entirely destroyed by worthless humans. Only 5% of the wetland remains for the birds & the bees to enjoy.
Totally degraded now & beyond repair. Rotting foul smelling water, no natural salt formation in the salt pans like in the past & about 90% has dried up.
Shot on the Find X9 Ultra. 📸 🎯 ✨

Wah @mybmcwardGN wah..
Thanks @mybmc
Carrying a Flex Shredder in your van to tear down all the Illegal Banners, which multiplied after the @mayor_mumbai#FlexYuktMumbai abhiyaaan.
So many illegal banners that due to lack of space they are shredding & disposing it off on the road.
📌 Dadar, Senapati Bapat Marg, nr Ruby Tower.

Sion Bridge and the other two GMLR & Vidhyavihar maybe finally opened to Public tomorrow.
All the banners and flags will be ready & put in place in time for the innauguration.

@RoadsOfMumbai Hell may already be full of such bikers. They would just overtake Satan from the left and cut right into the VIP section. Better to evaporate them on the spot.
Dadar’s public roads & footpaths have been fully hijacked by illegal hawkers and flower vendors in the name of “festive business.”
Waste dumped on the street, traffic choked, pedestrians forced onto the road — all while designated facilities sit unused.
This is not seasonal activity. This is open civic lawlessness. @mybmc@mybmcWardGN@DadarPS@MTPHereToHelp
— enforce the law. Clear the stretch.
Penalise the violators.
Public space is not private market real estate.
How long will @mybmc tolerate this blatant civic lawlessness at Dadar Flower Market?
Despite designated waste-disposal facilities, municipal collection vehicles and a flower-waste recycling machine, traders continue dumping waste on Senapati Bapat Marg. The rules exist; enforcement is missing.
@mybmcWardGN must enforce Section 368 of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, 1888 (pertaining to the duty of owners to manage waste), and @DadarPS@MTPHereToHelp examine action for public nuisance under Sections 270 & 292 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, wherever applicable.
Penalise violators, initiate legal proceedings and stop treating public roads as dumping grounds. The law must be enforced—not merely announced!

Just heard that @mybmc & it's various wards will begin removing all #IllegalBanners from tomorrow morning.
So that more banners under the #FlexYuktMumbai initiative can be put for the impending innauguration of Bridges, Flyovers, ROBs & other Infra projects for the upcoming Diwali festivals.
@Ravirajagopal65@ckdadar@MTPHereToHelp There’s already an official flower market nearby right on Senapati Bapat Marg.
Encroaching roads and footpaths isn’t a livelihood issue — it’s illegal occupation of public space.
Citizens’ right to use the road comes first. Enforce the limits.
