I reflected on this topic throughout the week and began to think of ways I could ensure my content would relate to the children's interest in my class on School Placement. An idea I found was to conduct a student interest survey to find out exactly what the children enjoy. #SI401

One of the aspects of out workshop that stood out to me was the importance of incorporating students interests into classroom tasks in both curricular and non-curricular activities. We spoke about how through using interests and hobbies we can ensure children are engaged. #SI401

I would recommend following @SavannaFlakes and her page "Inclusion for All". Savanna is a Tedx speaker and shares a lot of interesting topics in areas of inclusion, collaboration and co-teaching and many topics we have explored in our #SI401 module.

Self-Action leadership is based on individual will, power and personal agency. Inter-Action leadership refers to a "more plural, less individualised" agency, although agency still lies with an individual, it is sputtered by interaction between leaders and followers. #si401

Trans-action leadership is about "where, when, how and why" rather than "who". (McBeath et. al 2018). It reiterated our understandings from our leadership for inclusion module-"leadership is about people in everyday life" and involves "effective networking among teachers". #si401

Teacher Leadership is narrowing the gap between your values and your practice. Self-action leadership is the most recognised form of leadership. Teacher Leadership should be more focused on Inter-action and Trans-action Leadership and the coming together of teachers. #SI401
